Linking words (từ nối) là công cụ giúp câu văn và bài viết trở nên mạch lạc, dễ hiểu. Chúng được chia thành nhiều nhóm theo ngữ cảnh sử dụng: bổ sung, đối lập, nguyên nhân – kết quả, trình tự, ví dụ, nhấn mạnh… Dưới đây là danh sách đầy đủ kèm ngữ cảnh minh họa.

Nhóm từ nối và ngữ cảnh sử dụng

1. Bổ sung (Addition)

• and, also, moreover, furthermore, in addition
• Ngữ cảnh: Dùng khi muốn thêm thông tin.

2. Đối lập (Contrast)
