WOMAN: Hello, Bill. Did you have a good week?
BOY: Yes. I did lots of different things.
WOMAN: Did you?
BOY: Yes. On Monday, I watched a video at friend Tom’s house.
WOMAN: What was it about?
BOY: Some dinosaurs that lived on the moon!

WOMAN: What did you do on Thursday?
BOY: Thursday?
WOMAN: Yes.
BOY: Errmm ___ I went to the cinema with brother. We saw a film about pirates.
WOMAN: Did they find any treasure?
BOY: No! They weren’t very clever!

WOMAN: And what did you do on Saturday?
BOY: It was Tom’s birthday so I went to his party.
WOMAN: Was it good?
BOY: Yes. We more funny clothes there!

BOY: But I was at home on Sunday.

BOY: Yes. It rained all day.
WOMAN: What did you do? Did you read a book?
BOY: No. I played a computer game with robots in it.

BOY: Friday. We went to see a clown who was there.
WOMAN: Oh!
BOY: He read us some stories. He was very funny.

BOY: I had a cold. I couldn’t go outside.
WOMAN: Oh, dear!
BOY: It was OK. Tom brought me a book to read.
WOMAN: About pirates?
BOY: Yes! I love those kinds of stories.
